On Thursday Feb. 9, 2012 Marine Corps Sniper Scouts took a damaging photo in front of a flag that resembles the Nazi SS, a special unit that killed millions and millions of Jews. The Marine Corps stated that using the symbol was not acceptable. Supposively the Corps made a mistake and thought the symbols stood for Sniper Scouts. The Scouts never meant to be known as a racial organization so they say. Quoted by Maj Gabrielle Chapin.
